Great idea! Very expensive! I manage Elsa’s Wild Bird Garden in FL where there are dozens of Wild Monk Parakeets, Blue Jays, Mockingbirds, Blue Crowned Parakeets, Doves, Pigeons, Red-Winged Blackbirds, Red-Bellied Woodpecker, …. The Garden has 20+ bird feeders, water, and flowers.
This product is what I was looking for but, it is over-priced by $30-$40. Actual cost is probably $15. I would be buying several of these feeders at a fair price.

And, we’ll be offering a special, introductory price the week of October 24th on this feeder. This is the only squirrel-proof feeder that is not only big-bird proof too, but is completely hygienic and waterproof. Duncraft is in the process of coming out with approximately 40 new products, all made here in Concord, NH, as part of our efforts to produce quality bird feeders and to keep jobs at home!

I agree about the feeder being a great idea, but have to disagree about the price. Duncraft like any other manufacturer needs to re-coup their R&D cost. While it may be $15 to produce the final designed product, it cost substantially more to get to that point. I don’t feel the price is out of line and when you compare it to other squirrel proof feeders it is reasonably priced.
Congratulations to Duncraft for coming up with a cleaver design and their comment to keeping jobs at home.
