Martin Dunn in the workshop with our new CNC Router

Duncraft has been a busy place lately, making lots of new eco-friendly products right here in Concord, NH. We’ve recently added new manufacturing equipment specifically for producing bird feeders and houses out of recycled plastic. The plastic we use has been made from type 2 recycled milk jugs, laundry detergent and bleach containers and other heavy plastics. When recycled into planks, this material can be used to make beautiful bird feeders that are eco-friendly and last a lifetime. The colors are vibrant, never fade and the material won’t ever warp or crack. And since the material is non-porous, it’s super easy to keep clean and sanitary.

The Router at Work!

Come look at all the lovely new eco-friendly feeders and houses we’ve crafted! Here are a few of our favorites:

Our Red Cardinal Window Feeder is a whimsical design that fits right onto the outside of your window with strong suction cups. It really lets you see birds up close!

A deep, 2 inch bottom tray lets you fill the feeder with seeds or any other foods your birds like, such as suet, pieces of fruit, berries or even mealworms.

If you’re an oriole lover, you’ll love the bright orange color of our Eco-Oriole Fruit and Jelly Feeder. Fill the two sturdy cups with grape jelly and spike fruit halves on the two skewers. Other birds like fruit and jelly too, especially mockingbirds and catbirds!

We daresay this is the best bluebird house on the market! Our Eco-Friendly Bluebird House is absolutely gorgeous and made with all the specifications bluebirds require. It’s non-porous and easy to keep clean and hygienic. Two pre-drilled holes let you mount on a post or our Bird House Mounting Pole.
